Hey all,
So we have been whipping up new beers here with some regular frequency. The push for collaborations brews for the Portsmouth Craft Beer week really got our creative juices flowing here in the Brewery. So I hope you guys are enjoying the changes of the beers that you have known and loved and the new beers that have started hitting the taps.
The newest beer we have in fermentation was a colab brew with Charlie Ireland from Smuttynose. We did a Pineapple Sage Saison that is going to be super light in body and extremely drinkable. Looking into researching some names i found that Sebago just released a Saison that they brewed with Pineapple Sage. But after reading the description our version is going to be quite different. I loved their name using the Latin Root of Pineapple Sage. But it just points out the big question is that i don't have a name for our Pineapple Sage Saison.
Any suggestions?
cheers,
Tyler

ReplyDeletethanks for all your help...you got me thinking on the Hawaiian train of thought. I found the Hawaiian word Hokeo which is the name of one of the ancient Hawiian Gods, but also means to secretly love. So i thought it fitting for this saison. Since I hope you "secretly love" this beer!
