It's Pumpkin Ale Time

Matt and Matt were up to their elbows, carving up fresh, local pumpkins yesterday, so I asked them to take a break and give us a sneak preview of this season's pumpkin offerings. Tyler will provide more details later.

Cheers!

  1. The pumpkins we are using this year, and for many years now, are from Blueberry Bay Farm over in Stratham NH. (http://www.blueberrybayfarm.com/) Blueberry Bay has been growing these organic Dickinson Pumpkins for us for quite a few years now. Dickinson pumpkins are the origal "Libby" pumpkin and are know for there high fruit to seed ratio and a high sugar content. This make these the perfect pumpkin for brewing beer.

    Cheers,
    Tyler
