Hummm...

Hey all,

I have been trying to updated the left side of this blog for two days now and the website wont let me. So here is the deal until I can figure out how to fix it.

The Cask changed to Alt dry hopped w/ Hallertau

Hop Harvest 1 is almost gone and is going to be changing to Hop Harvest 2. The second batch is made with wet Warriors, 60#'s again for 7 bbls. Warrior hops are and intensely spicy hop and that comes though quite nicely on HH2. It should be going on shortly, maybe this afternoon, or tomorrow. Just a heads up.

Tod is gone to Germany for a vacation so I am solo for the week so I have a ton of work to get back to. See ya all in for a pint real soon

Cheers,
Tyler

  1. Tyler, had the HH #2 today, very good beer. However, served way too cold and the carbonation seemed off (this was around 5:30PM). Had an almost cask-like head that just immediately faded. Don't get me wrong, taste and smell were phenomenal and I plan on drinking alot more! Are bombers available (none were in the store)?

  2. MFG,

You are right the HH2 is a little young at the moment. The carbonation is on its way up as we speak. I am with you and think our beers could be a bit warmer so more of the beers flavor can come out. Though we have tried this in the past and we got a ton of complaints that the beer was too warm. We have to please a big diversity of beer drinkers here at the P-Brew. But it is very easy to warm your own beer before you start drinking it. All you have to do is hold your beer with both hands for about a min. That should be enough to take the chill off of it and let the flavors/aromas come right out. About the bottles I am running solo here for the week and brewing three times. So I will try my best to get some bottles in the store. Only time will tell on that.

    Cheers,
    Tyler
